seeking a motivated team member to join our transportation team as
a Transportation Supervisor . This candidate will be a key member
of our in house load center. Team member will be on site located
Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Regional Transportation Manager .
The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills,
and a focus on continuous improvement to drive efficiency and
enhance service delivery Pay Range: $68,100 - $76,488. This role is
eligible for an annual bonus. Location: Dallas, TX
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the planning and execution of the region volume,
national HOD middle mile volume, and national OS&D (over,
short, and damage claims)- outbound and inbound loads through Uber
Freight transportation management system (TMS), while meeting
customer and company pickup and delivery expectations Working
alongside the 3rd party transportation provider (Uber Freight) and
3rd party carriers to ensure delivery appointments are set within
KPI targets, reschedule support is efficient and timely, and track
and trace is active and effective Acting as the first line of
support for exception management, identifying disruptions or delays
in load center operations and system outages, and collaborating
with the load center team, Northeast Transportation Team, and Uber
Freight to resolve issues quickly. Ensure all operational
exceptions are documented, tracked, and communicated to
stakeholders Identifying opportunities to optimize load pairing,
reduce transportation costs through proper carrier selection and
TMS tools, and improve service levels. Collaborate with Uber
Freight and Primo Brands teams to implement best practices,
streamline processes, develop productivity KPI reporting, and
contribute to overall efficiency improvements in the load center's
operations Maintaining relationship with Regional Transportation
team to understand scope of route guides, carrier capacity
commitments, and escalation support Building connections with
respective warehouse and planning leadership teams to understand
direct connections with operations, such as dock capacity and
volume changes and forecasts that affect load center operations and
the ability to deliver loads to customers Supervising a team of
approximately 11 transportation coordinators, ensuring they have
clear goals, resources, and support to perform effectively. Provide
ongoing training, coaching, and development to improve team
performance and productivity, fostering a culture of accountability
and collaboration. Load center is staffed 7 days a week
Facilitating a minimum of twice weekly operational meetings for the
Load Center Team to include the Northeast Regional Transportation
team Supporting development and implementation of training guides,
process changes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed
to reduce order touches and increase automation within load center
operations Keeping the Load Center Team 100% compliant on time
keeping and Skillsoft Training as well as the required safety
behavior observations (SBO) amount per month Being agile with
accountabilities as determined by the needs of the Senior
Transportation Systems Manager and overall company. Qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business
Management, Logistics, or related field is desired Experience with
problem solving methodologies including Lean manufacturing, DMAIC
projects, and/or Six Sigma are highly desired Experienced analysis
capabilities utilizing Excel and/or Access is required Experience
with TMS systems is desired Must be a people-oriented leader with
experience in developing leadership and increasing the capability
of others Prior manager / supervisor experience required 3-5 years
of leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing
environment is preferred Ability to handle multiple people and
projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and
organizational skills Customer focused attitude in a dynamic
environment Proficient with computers and windows based software.
Experience with an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle is preferred
