Role Summary This is a highly visible role within the company
and within the helicopter industry globally as a sales leader for
Heli-One, the leading independent helicopter MRO. This position is
responsible for collaborating with sales and executive leadership
in devising and executing the sales plan and directing the
activities of the sales team in order to meet the financial and
operational goals of Heli-One. The role requires maintaining an
extensive network of customer relationships and being able to
leverage those relationships to build successful customer
partnerships which drive revenue. This position is expected to lead
the tactical execution of the sales plan but also to play a
significant role in developing the strategic sales plan of
Key Responsibilities Drive sales strategy to achieve short and
long-term goals of the company.
Lead the sales team by directing their activities, managing
their workload, supporting their development and coaching.
Support the sales team in negotiations and take the lead as
Lead the company’s response to opportunities, including
developing business cases and support concepts where necessary and
gain internal stakeholder buy-in.
Develop business cases and present recommendations to Senior
Management in order to pursue approval to bid.
Provide leadership to the internal management team on
understanding the market and developing strategic plans of the

Act as the focal point for information on customers and market
opportunities, in particular for sales forecasting needs and to

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes A Bachelor’s Degree is
required and an MBA in beneficial.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience in aviation
and preferably in the helicopter industry.
Experience in a global customer environment, with a proven
management track record.
Outstanding customer service, interpersonal skills and business
acumen skills with a strategic approach.
Outstanding sales ability and negotiation skills.
Strong customer focus and understanding of how to optimize
Heli-One’s offerings to the market
Strong leadership skill with the ability to motivate and manage
Ability to convey complex concepts in a simple fashion.
Strong technical understanding and ability to deal with
A continuous improvement mindset and process-oriented approach
in all business matters.
