Summary: In this role, you will provide and drive results
through efficient and successful delivery of Clinical Documentation
Improvement engagements for member and clients. You will be
expected to identify, evaluate and implement opportunities to
reduce cost, increase revenue and/or improve performance.
Supervise a project team or individually be responsible for
significant project work streams or initiatives. Execute plans that
meet project schedule, budget and expected value.
Participate in drafting, review and quality control of Clinical
Documentation Improvement Proposals and Statements of Work.
Ensure successful and sustainable implementation of Vizient
Workforce tools and technologies at client sites.
Plan and oversee analysis activities to achieve strategic
insight to solve complex business problems.
Initiate and maintain senior level client relationships,
including interaction with the C-suite.
Provide business development support by generating leads or
participating in close of sales.
Contribute to practice development by writing papers, attending
conferences, participating in speaking engagements, and generating
ideas for new products/services, etc.
Relevant degree preferred. RN or Master's degree desired.
7 or more year’s relevant work e xperience required.
Knowledge of ICD9/10 coding, CPT codes and DRG coding is
Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Clinical
Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) certification is
Consulting experience is strongly desired.
Outpatient CDI experience is desired.
Previous leadership and supervisory experience is preferred.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the
year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
