? About This Opportunity
Responsibilities The Director of Business Analytics position
offers a rare opportunity for a senior leader to lead a start up in
a Fortune 75 company. This position requires a senior leader to
drive engagement and adoption of customer analytics via internal
Director, Business Analytics is the primary Customer Success
Leader for Data as a Product (DaaP), internally-focused to work
directly with SEI (7-Eleven Inc.) users (Merchandising, Marketing,
Digital Product Teams, others) and drive internal monetization for
our Customer Insights Portal and ancillary services production.
This leader will enable the Principal, Business Development, who
works externally with SEI Suppliers, by owning the DaaP Product
operationally and ad hoc project production.
Ensure the coordination of and participate in onsite user
meetings with our internal teams.
Manage and ensure customer user delight for Training and Help
Manage on-going interactions with our Partner Vendor, providing
our Customer Insights Portal.
Owns Data as a Product's Customer Insights platform adoption and
consumption in order to drive high platform usages and stickiness
to improve 7-Eleven customer retention, trips and basket upsell
Leads client and partners success team designed to support the
DaaP implementation (initial and on-going), customer product
support needs, and overall adoption best practices into 7-Eleven
Merchandising/Marketing/Digital product teams and CPGs (e.g.,
shopper marketing, category management).
Partners with an internal team that includes merchandising,
marketing, and Digital product team leaders to act as the voice of
the customer to help drive SEI customer-centric sales and marketing
Leads the team of data analysts, the Analytics & Verifications
team, who work with various Digital product management teams to
ensure their needs for analysis and verifications are met, and
there is consistency in the test and learn methodologies that are
going to implemented across all digital products
Develop internal and external customer success processes,
including customer onboarding, ongoing support, and upsell/renewal
Creates a playbook with objectives, program
timelines/milestones, and templates for internal deliverables
Defines and measures metrics for measuring program impact,
customer satisfaction, product usage, and Supplier Partner account
Manage implementation and on-boarding process for each Internal
User, provides reporting and visibility to program status on an
on-going basis, and schedules and delivers final readout with
trainings and on-going support expectations.
Develop strong partnerships with client change champions to
drive focus on program objectives and milestones.
Anticipates and removes barriers that slow down or prevent teams
from delivering on project goals.
Directs the strategy and execution for all business development
efforts through active sponsorship, leadership and involvement in
specific deals to ensure they meet time, price, and implementation
Implement an effective review, reporting, and compensation
Conducts program evaluations.
Work closely with his/her team of Analytics & Verifications
analysts for delivery against all commercial and internal
Communicate effectively with other DaaP leaders, in particular,
the Principal, Business Development to drive demand generation and
customer delight with external Supplier Partners.
Work closely with SEI Enterprise Data Engineering (Data
Technology) team and with finance (Financial Planning & Analysis)
to assist in continuous improvement innovations and mechanisms.
Active, decision driving member of strategic and operational
leadership team within Data as a Product.
Continuously reviews market and customer trends to improve
customer the experience, drive operational excellence, and drive
product innovations in cooperation with Merchandising, Marketing,
Digital Product Teams, Data Technology and our Partner Vendor.
Present weekly implementations, operations, usages and internal
monetization status to DaaP team and Governance Team (sometimes VPs
attend as well).
Qualifications 4 Year Bachelors Degree.
Masters degree or greater highly preferred.
10+ years relevant experience working with Customer Insights,
Market Research, Business Analysis.
Extensive experience analyzing customer behavioral data, ideally
having significant experince in predictive modeling.
Knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage an audience with persuasive, data-based story
Leadership in developing strategies and execu_ng against roadmap
to drive change.
Background in Business Analysis or Management Consulting.
