As part of the Global Standards and Analytics organization, the Control Automation team is responsible for the design and development of daily, full-file, automated control monitoring solutions for USCB. This is accomplished through robust data and analytics disciplines, standardized design, and development processes, leveraging of best practices and strong partnership/collaboration with Front End/Operations process owners, CBORC, In-Business control teams and Technology. Once developed, the Digital Monitoring Tools will be used to evaluate the performance of key controls in mitigating the underlying operational risks of a business process.

The Applications Development Lead Analyst (C13) is a senior level position responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating the project teams executing the design, development, and validation of new automated control monitoring solutions (e.g. Digital Monitoring Tools) in coordination with multiple business, control and technology/data teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and drive daily stand-ups, iteration planning, sprint reviews, iteration retrospectives, and events as requested for various agile teams
  • Partner with leadership on creation of quarterly road map planning and daily prioritization for new and active sprints
  • Facilitate planning sessions for monthly sprints by partnering with design leads- includes AIMs, Technology teams
  • Partner with various teams, including CBORC and Business partners, to organize and maintain prioritization of requests
  • Proactively identify and manage/eliminate impediments and facilitate flow to keep running at high performance by working with lead design analysts and partner teams
  • Able to do postmortem and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
  • Administration of team JIRA board and standards to support priorities, estimates, and execution
  • Guides the team in time estimating practices and facilitating team estimates
  • Participate with capacity and resource plan to align with quarterly roadmap
  • Presents high level project readouts for senior management; prepare and distribute project progress reports to various stakeholders
  • Create and manage internal reporting designated by leadership
  • Manage other special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills; Scrum Master or PM certified is a plus
  • Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing and various demands
  • Proven ability to lead large projects in parallel and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are continuously met
  • Demonstrated experience using comparable tools: Agile Project Management tools (example: JIRA), Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Experience interacting with both business and technology teams at all levels
  • Thrives in highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big-picture" view
