What will you do:
Lead and grow a team of Sales Operations professionals spanning
functions which include territory planning and management, sales
program development and sales learning and development.
Develop an implementation plan and approach to execute a growth
Partner with sales leadership to improve the effectiveness of
all Sales associates
Synthesize trends, opportunities, strategy and communicate
proactively and effectively with all levels up to and including
- Create and manage roadmap of enhancements for each
Sales Learning and Development:
Manage the overall Sales Learning and Development function
Ensure SLD improves new hire productivity as well as
productivity of existing staff
Ensure SLD evolves with sales best practice and product
- Ensure adoption of L&D initiatives across Sales
Lead the development of a new territory planning function
Establish a fact-based approach for building fair and equitable
territories for the Digital Markets sales force
Partner with Sales Leadership to ensure territories remain
balanced as staffing levels fluctuate (departures and growth)
- Identify scalable approaches to the ongoing management of
Lead a team of analysts to focus on identifying sales best
practice through quantitative and qualitative analysis
Lead the development of programs which guide sales associates to
adopt best practices with a goal of achieving consistent
Capture and articulate the impact of programs
Partner with the CRM team to ensure the CRM experience
re-enforces best practices and programs
Lead the execution of one-off sales programs and incentives
- Lead the annual planning process including headcount/expense
budgets as well as refining sales compensation plans
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, master's degree preferred
10+ years total business experience
2-3 years of sales management experience in a
business-to-business sales environment
Demonstrated track record of growing from the ground up and
Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous
- Strong communication, facilitation, leadership and influence
