Please Note: This is the 2nd shift position. Work hours: 2:30
p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Possible Saturday shift (rotational)

Assembler II, 2nd Shift
WHAT YOU'LL DO
With minimal supervisory direction, this position constructs
moderate and complex assemblies and sub-assemblies within a
production environment to achieve a daily build goal utilizing
tools and troubleshooting methods to accomplish work. The Assembler
II is cross trained on instrument assembly build and functionality
as well as assists and trains associates in assembly build,
functional testing and non-conformance technical writing. Strict
adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs and
Quality Standards are mandatory.
Cross trained on instrument assembly build and acts as SME for
assembly build and functionality. Reads, understands and interprets
Visual Manufacturing Instructions (VMI), follows production
drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions
regarding duties to be performed. Able to complete Assembler I
Assist technicians to trouble shoot issues in functional testing
and train associates in mechanical and structural assembly for
products and instruments.
Utilizes troubleshooting skills for root cause analysis while
working independently to perform functional tests on
Utilizes communication, troubleshooting, analytical skills to
facilitate reprocessing and re-work.
Assist and train associates with non-conformance technical
writing. Actively works with quality department to achieve
successful first-time right completion of documentation.
Communicates any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors
Complete documentation for Device History Records per Good
Documentation Practices (GDP) and department SOP's. Guides
associates in best practices and GMP.
Recommends and participates in continuous improvement
initiatives which include working with production teams to improve
quality, reduce cost and increase throughput
Seeks efficiency in systems and process gaps and elevates
awareness to management.
Utilizes calibrated and non-calibrated hand tools and equipment
to perform assembly builds. Uses manufacturing aids, fixtures and
cranes. Accountable for labeling activities and work station
Promotes a positive work environment
Participate in on-the-job training for manufacturing processes,
corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as
defined by supervisor.
Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP's,
equipment, policies and procedures, including any department
specific requirements. Serves on safety, quality and other
committees, if applicable.
- Work may be conducted within a controlled environment where ESD
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Six sigma training and/or yellow belt certification
Train the trainer experience preferred
Ability to work and manage own time under minimal
Flexible, takes direction, self-motivated and focused with a

Demonstrates root-cause problem solving to identify and perform
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to
