About this role:

The Financial Analyst, Variable Compensation prepare analysis and reporting of sales performance data, variable compensation, territory & leads for multiple business units. Financial Analysts also help audit data, resolve a variety of inquiries, and manage projects that improve processes and/or systems.

What you'll do:

  • Provide reporting and detailed analyses to help business unit leadership make timely, fact-based decisions and ensure managers have full view into team and individual performance
  • Assist in developing global processes and technical systems support for multiple complex compensation plans, territory assignment administration and leads initiatives
  • Participate in complex initiatives and system enhancements including testing
  • Understand multiple internal areas including compensation plans and rules, Order Management process & system, Territory Management rules, quota setting process, company initiatives and leads process in order to investigate and resolve issues
  • Resolve and respond to problems or inquiries made regarding calculations, preparation, payments and adjustments
  • Perform data audits
  • Review work of other team members - including table updates, manual adjustments, comp plan modeling, STG coding - to ensure quality control

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; significant quantitative coursework required
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience
  • Ability to understand and articulate compensation plans and work with team to create accurate and efficient formulas and processes
  • Ability to quickly master new and complex content, including territory management rules, compensation plans, and related areas
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to perform effective root cause analysis
  • Ability to work with large quantities of detailed data from multiple sources
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & effective listening skills
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in proactive manner
  • Interest in constant performance improvement and comfort with change
  • Excellent organization, prioritization & time management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
