Job Description

This is a position where you can help people get better at their jobs, enhance their career and drive business results – how rewarding would that be?  As an L&D Specialist you would have an opportunity to work with all levels of the company building the capacity for and driving enterprise-wide development and transformation through creating training programs and curricula to a wide variety of audiences.  The selected candidate will have a strong understanding training practices and trends and be able to effectively communicate with the business while providing impeccable training experiences and interactions with our associates.  The Learning and Organizational Development team at Epsilon are passionate champions for our associates and each other.  You will do important work that has impact on our people and our business.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Contribute to training strategy & initiatives by executing on training projects and assignments to drive business goals and objectives;
  • Provide support for course development efforts, including product research, providing subject matter expertise, exercise development and testing;
  • Formulate training outlines and determine instructional methods based on the training needs and objectives;
  • Assist and participate in developing and maintaining training roadmaps with careful consideration for appropriate sequencing, prerequisites, and class sizes;
  • Build relationships with training leaders, SMEs, vendors and HR partners;
  • Coordinate scheduling, enrolling, logistics, tracking, and reporting of learning events;
  • Create and provide reporting for L&OD metrics and dashboards for programs by showing business impact (i.e. Compliance Training and L&OD audit reporting);
  • Complete other special projects as assigned.
  • Become the point of contact for LMS (Cornerstone) project management and administration

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Ability to identify end user needs, analyze and logically organize complex concepts, and accurately transform information into professional, engaging, and effective content.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects;
  • Relationship skills to ensure stakeholder & SME engagement;
  • All members of the L&OD team have to be thinkers and doers and have fun doing it!;
  • Ability to influence in a matrixed environment;
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must practice strong time management skills;
  • Ability to give and receive feedback effectively;
  • Must have grace under pressure.

Background/Skills Required:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in  LMS project management and/or administration
  • Minimum 2-3 years of corporate experience in operations and/or training
  • Superior communication with the ability to work cross-functionally and within a virtual work environment
  • Analytical reasoning ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
  • Results driven, self-motivated, and detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to facilitate in a lead capacity and be comfortable with using good judgment to make independent decisions based upon limited information and time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in teaching, developing training systems, or in classroom instruction
  • Experience with designing training plans, instructional design, and/or eLearning development
  • Training or experience developing training program from the ground up
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of adult learning theories, and training design and their successful application within the workplace environment
  • Experience with eLearning design software such as Captivate, Articulate, or Adobe Suite software (including Premiere Pro, Audition, Dreamweaver, Media Converter, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone) and/or Ticketing Systems (ServiceNow)
