Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced RF Systems
Signal Processing Firmware Engineer to work on a collaborative,
cross-functional team developing and implementing RADAR signal
processing algorithms with deployment to RFSOCs and other
technologies. The RF engineer will have the opportunity to
- MATLAB and C++ development in Windows and Linux environments to
develop RADAR simulations.
- RADAR signal processing algorithms development including:
hardware configuration, waveform creation/selection, search
algorithms, track algorithms, direction algorithms, control
algorithms, EA and EP algorithms.
- Environment model development
- Testing and Performance Analysis of algorithms in simulation and
on embedded hardware
- Interfacing with HW and embedded SW engineers for algorithm
- Agile development, configuration management and verification of
software throughout development

on related best practices and technological advancements.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the -Mid-Cities- region in the
Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of
Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The
region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy
and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a

numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas
at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North
Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University.
The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span
between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities
of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake,
Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland
Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along
with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke
and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active DoD Secret
- Digital signal processing background with understanding of radar
system design and theory.
- Experience implementing digital signal processing algorithms on
- Familiar with RF circuit design and components
- Understanding of real-time systems and concurrent processing
- Proficiency with debugging firmware - familiar with JTAG,
oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Demonstrated experience using C/C++ and development in MATLAB
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited
college in a related discipline (engineering, physics, math,
computer science, etc.).
- Experience developing signal processing firmware designs using
MATLAB, Simulink, and Vivado System Generator for DSP
- Experience using Xilinx FPGAs
