Opportunity awaits you with our entry-level role as a Systems Support/Operations Associate. This individual will provide support and be a subject matter expert for all business systems and provide end-user support for all levels of the Organization. Furthermore, this individual will perform all aspects of purchasing, and inventory management for all company locations. Through systematic reporting and thoughtful decision making, this role must identify products that are to be purchased, the most appropriate supplier for the products, confirm all aspects of pricing, confirm all deliveries, and maintain an inventory control database. You will report to both the Business Intelligence Manager as well as the Purchasing and Inventory Team Lead as part of the Operations division. -
The Opportunity -As a Systems Support/Operations Associate -you will troubleshoot and improve our business systems to maximize their impact, always looking for ways to create/improve automated solutions that overcome business challenges and promote a culture of collaboration and partnership with teams inside and outside of technology. Along the way, you will educate coworkers on the information and systems available to align their needs with available resources. You will learn the scope of customer needs and utilize skills and tools that will minimize the carrying cost for our organization. Additionally, you will be involved in daily collaboration, offering input to our Supply Chain and Parts departments to help develop and improve our inventory audits and certify that inventory accuracy is maintained. - -
Day to Day Responsibilities - -
Systems Support -

  • Develop and improve automated solutions that overcome business challenges -
  • Primary Internal Help desk support for business -systems -
  • Be a subject matter expert for all business systems, providing end-user support for all levels of the Organization - -
  • Operate and manage data systems and system integrations -
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Team Lead or Manager -Purchasing - -
    • Accurately maintain, enter, proof, and submit purchase orders based on customer demand, inventory levels, and management direction -
    • Corresponding backorders, depleted stock, and rush orders with third-party vendors -
    • Coordinate order status report submissions from suppliers and resolve changes and discrepancies on relevant purchase orders -
    • Provide quotes and estimated pricing from each vendor or supplier as requested by internal parties -
    • Track supplier purchase orders for delivery and communicate ETAs to both internal/external parties -
    • Provide support to internal teams by monitoring supplier performance, generating reports, and providing appropriate information to the necessary parties -Inventory - -
      • Interrelate with warehouse teams to complete various tasks such as inventory discrepancies, daily cycle count reports, cycle count entries, variance confirmations, inventory adjustments, product shortages, and monitor inventory moves -
      • Perform scheduled physical inventory cycle counts/audits and adjust as needed to meet inventory accuracy requirements with the approval and direction of the Manager -
      • Maintain company inventory standards/policies while performing accurate audits for each warehouse and storage location -
      • Have a daily hands-on approach to maximize sales order efficiency through effective purchasing, warehouse analysis, and maintaining system integrity, along with min/max levels. -
      • Enter inventory adjustments as needed, performs root cause analysis and corrective actions
        Qualifications -
        Required -
        • Have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, - -
        • Be proficient, quick, and comfortable with computer/software navigation and operation. -
        • Be able to occasionally work nights and/or weekends for after hour system maintenance/responsibilities -
        • Be able to spend up to 25% of work time standing, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, climbing, walking, etc. -
        • Be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while consistently producing high-quality work and projecting a positive attitude -
        • Candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by hire date or have a valid religious or medical reason not to be vaccinated. -
        • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Stewart (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa, or any other non-immigrant status). -Preferred -
          • College degree or 1-2 years experience working in a fast-paced Purchasing or Inventory Control environment with knowledge of inventory control best practices or related experience. -
          • Professional experience in a data-oriented role -
          • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen -
          • Be detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines with a sense of urgency -
          • Exceptional communication skills, that are courteous and professional. - -
          • Excellent time management skills while simultaneously completing other responsibilities -
