Job Description:

Associate w/ United Capital Financial Advisers, LLC in Irving, TX. Maintain a thorough understanding of Personal Financial Management (PFM) and advice delivery process. Act as the primary Advisor for and manage an assigned client base with the direct oversight of the Business Operations Manager and Head of Office. Requires: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related financial services role. One (1) year of experience in the following areas: wealth management/financial planning to create solutions that are directly applicable to clients' financial needs; internal and industry trading and fiduciary rules and regulations to ensure compliance with guidelines and protocols; investment Management: investment products, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, REITs and ETFs, and how they fit into financial plans; actively manage 50+ high net worth relationships. This includes: creating and maintaining financial plans, allocating funds into appropriate investment vehicles while taking the clients' investment objects, plans, goals and suitability into consideration, helping clients plan for expected and unexpected life events/changes, proactively meeting with clients on an ongoing basis and being available to answer questions and concerns from clients; and participate in internal projects and initiatives as directed. This includes active participation in and adherence to compliance and non-compliance related training, process changes, reporting expectations, team building initiatives, industry updates and paperwork requirements. FINRA Series 7 and Series 65 or 66 licenses required. Must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Travel is required at least 15% of the time to meet with clients to review/update financial plan.
