Job Summary:Primary function is to provide personal assistance services to clients in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment; work cooperatively with client and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Job Qualifications:Education: At least 18 years of ageLicensure: Must have a current driver's license.Skills: Must be able to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients, representatives, and caregivers, as well as to other Agency staff. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of the ill and elderly. Essential Functions: - Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication with patients/clients, their caregivers and families, and other employees - Provides an environment which promotes respect for patients/clients and their privacy and property. - Provide tasks to client according the Individual Service Plan - Appropriately report changes to ensure continuity of care. - Practice accepted infection control principles. - Provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment. - Provide skills necessary to perform services according to agency policy. - Contributes to the management and efficient operation of the Agency and demonstrates effective time management skills. - Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency by attending 12 hours of inservices per year.- Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
