About the Job The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for helping others learn the details of Hardware Resources and Top Knobs products. Key Duties and Responsibilities Strategy Collaborate with the Director of Learning and Development to create a strategy for product knowledge technical training that meet instructional goals and objectives Create and manage a product certification program that defines knowledge levels Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizing relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods Assist in analyzing and assessing training & development needs for individuals and departments Ability to collaborate with various partner teams such as Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curriculum, and methodology Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills Facilitation Deliver training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques for new and existing products in various venues such as one-on-one, formal classroom, eLearning, the Annual Sales Meeting (It's a BIG Deal), and ongoing training programs The Annual Sales Meeting The annual Sales Meeting is our LARGEST training event. It is a BIG DEAL for us, and you will play an integral role Onboarding Conduct product knowledge sessions for new hires during scheduled training periods Support new hires with learning techniques to research and master product knowledge on their own Documentation Document training requests for new products and advise on the development of product launch materials Formulate training outlines and determine instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, coaching, and eLearning Develop training aids including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, eLearning modules, tutorials, and reference works Review new and existing content for technical accuracy, relevancy, and ensure that it's up to date Aids ongoing employee development through support of the learning management system (LMS), sourcing learning content, and communication and enrollment of training programs. Coordinate administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment Required Knowledge and Skills Experience designing learning content in Articulate 360 (Rise 360, Studio 360, Story 360) or similar content creation tool Experience utilizing Litmos eLearning Management System or similar Advance knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite (emphasis w/PowerPoint) Preferred Knowledge and Skills Experience with LinkedIn Learning Experience in creating content for Sales Reps Knowledge of field Sales strategies and concepts Education and Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in Business Management, Education, Communication, Learning Theory, or related field Minimum of 3-5 years-experience in a Corporate Training environment role Knowledge of implementation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs for adult learners Additional Information No relocation is offered for this position Ability to travel up to 10% mostly to the "lovely" Bossier City, LA office A post job offer drug screen and background check will be performed Reports to: Director of Learning & Development Department: Sales FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt Location: Dallas TXTo learn more about Hardware Resources visit our new website at Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Vision insuranceSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types: Bonus payEducation: Associate (Required)Experience: Corporate Training: 3 years (Required) Linkedln Learning: 3 years (Preferred) Creating Contents for Sales Reps: 3 years (Preferred) Knowledge of field Sales strategies: 3 years (Preferred) Articulate 360: 3 years (Preferred) Litmos eLearning Management System: 3 years (Preferred) Microsoft Office: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
