Iris''s client, a large Banking / Financial organization, is currently searching for a strong Sr. MicroStrategy Developer / Architect> for a to join their team.Our client has offices all over the world and has the global reach, advisory services, and distribution power to meet the needs of issuers and investors worldwide.Position: Sr. MicroStrategy Developer Location: Irving, TXDuration: Long TermJob Description:For the MicroStrategy architect role, we need a person with strong MicroStrategy experience who can engage, consult, and involve Business folks to understand/finesse reporting requirements and advise on feasibility etc.A person should be capable of designing the reporting solution by understanding customer needs.MicroStrategy dashboard and reports development using excel imports, multisource databases, and Hadoop connections; Seamless integration of MicroStrategy dashboards with web applications; Manage MicroStrategy schema object development and work on creating Hierarchies, Attributes, Facts, and Relationships between various attributes and develop perfect logical models for reporting environment. Database analysis, modeling, and SQL query generation for Business Intelligence dashboard and report development using MicroStrategy; Creating, maintaining, and fixing MicroStrategy semantic layer (metadata). Designing MicroStrategy security groups and roles and integrating them with other applications.Designing intelligent cube solutions to optimize performance for the concurrent dashboard and report usage.The person should be capable of explaining what MicroStrategy developers would need to other tech teams like Database, ETL, UI, etc. so the components work seamlessly.
