Title: Network/Data Engineer - Senior



Location: Irving, TX 75039



Positions will begin as HYBRID, 3 days in IRVING, TX office for training then can work with manager on remote schedule once trained.

Work Hours:

Shift hours in the beginning will be offered using a combination of the following shifts. If workload dictates changing shifts we will absolutely do so to match our work driver volumes. Again, being a 24/7/365 work center, candidates should be prepared to be scheduled for any hours and any days to meet the business needs in a 4 or 5 day work schedule.



5 Day Work Weeks:

6:00 am-3:00 pm

7:00 am-4:00 pm

11:00 am-8:00 pm

3:00 pm-12:00 am (midnight)



4 Day Work Weeks:

7:00 am-6:00 pm (this shift works on both Saturday and Sunday)

8:00 pm-7:00 am Overnight shift

This position is 24/7, 365 days per year, weekends/holidays



Job Description:

• 
  
• Responsible for the overall reliability and operations of client s High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) network and other advanced communication technologies.
  
• Performs fault, lifecycle, & change management to deliver platform technical support on a 24X7 basis to include triage, investigation and remediation of acute and chronic issues that span multiple platforms and technological environments.
  
• Must understand the End- to-End service to support underlying technologies.
  
  Roles & Responsibilities to include:

  • Responsible for supporting our HSIA network access infrastructure. This infrastructure will support our expanding fiber-based footprint for both in region and out of region expansion, using alarm and ticket systems, individual designed customized scripts, customer notification, following established business processes, and Business Partner escalations.
    
  • Responsible for deploying new fiber-based network elements as well as configuring them.
    
  • Responsibilities include providing real time in-depth analysis and real time trouble resolution of incidents associated with HSIA network elements, and associated Operations Support Systems.
    
  • Providing support to emerging technologies such as: Load Balancers, Infoblox, Alcatel- Client QIP, Blue Cat Networks, Wireless networks, and Layer 3 switches (Nexus).IPSEC VPN, Brocade.
    
  • Responsibilities include providing real time in-depth analysis and real time trouble resolution of incidents associated with the CISCO, Juniper, and associated Operations Support Systems, and Data Communications Network Technology platforms.
    
  • Advanced WAN troubleshooting on MPLS, point to point, Metro Ethernet networks to include the ability to find and restore latency, intermittent circuit issues, and Quality of Service problems.
