Immediate need for a Accounts Payable Coordinator for a global shipping/logistics company in the Irving area.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Irving, TX ON SITE ROLE!!
Pay: $18-20/hr
Schedule: 8am - 5pm (Monday to Friday)
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

• 
  
• 
  Evaluate, reconcile and process invoices for payment received for marine operations in North and South/Central America.
  
  
• 
  Review, research and reconcile statements received from various vendors.
  
  
• 
  Process invoices with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner to avoid late/interest payments.
  
  
  Duties:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Receive, code, enter, and batch invoices for payment processing in a timely manner
    
    
  • 
    Verify accuracy, review invoices and inquire/dispute with vendors as necessary
    
    
  • 
    Prepare weekly /monthly reports
    
    
  • 
    Check/research aging and various statements
    
    
  • 
    Other special projects/duties as assigned/required
    
    
    
    The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Two + years AP experience in a high volume environment preferred
      
      
    • 
      Knowledge of relevant accounting software
      
      
    • 
      Microsoft Excel experience
      
      
    • 
      At least 2 years of college degree preferred, high school diploma required
      
      
    • 
      Spanish speaking is a plus
