Drive strategy which spans globally across key markets in North America, LATAM, EMEA & Asia. The Global Wealth Investment domain is in a unique position to leverage products and services cutting across different sectors - PWBMT, ICG, TTS, GFTS and CTI. This global role will require building close partnership with Business and Tech leaders, including the CGW Chief Investment Officers, Global Head of Technology, Head of Investments tech delivery (CGW & USPB), ICG, GFTS & Citi technology Infrastructure teams, to meet their business aspirations, goals, and targets. This global leadership role will act as the Chief Architecture solutioning to manage a complex technology landscape and strong delivery team across investment, trading, advisory, portfolio management, custody, pricing, and servicing platforms. This leader will a play dominant role in the architecture simplification and convergence of private and retail banking technology to a global CGW model. The incumbent should have a very deep understanding of the Global Wealth markets, wealth product offerings, Client Portfolio management, and Regulatory & Compliance reporting technology & business domains. Demonstrate expertise in Wealth CRM, Client Acquisitions, Client Onboarding, Product Fulfillment, Account Funding and Client Servicing for all Wealth products including Investment Products, Capital Markets, Alternate Investments, Structured Products, OTC Derivatives, Custody, Escrow services and traditional Banking products. The role will drive rationalization of product processors and consolidation of booking, order management platform, develop & maintain roadmaps. The role requires having a "big picture" forward thinking, coupled solid experience over Investment products, Cloud technologies, cloud native architecture, tooling, devops and good understanding of evolving landscape across the financial services industry, brand leaders. The person needs to have strong leadership, interpersonal relationships, team building, and communication skills to manage virtual teams spread across different time-zones and geographies that provide architecture guidance, solution review for several concurrent projects in an agile delivery model.This position is a critical strategic role that will partner closely with Regional Wealth CIOs, Heads of Technology and Business Leaders in Citibank globally.The ability to communicate novel approaches and creative yet viable solutions effectively to senior management is key. This includes identification of competitive services, highlighting opportunities for innovation, developing sound financial business cases and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success. Strategic plans to achieve business objectives, by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all required technology services. The role requires expertise at evaluating and identifying appropriate technology platform alternatives for delivering the company's services and determining the right mix of internally built and externally procured systems and demonstrating how these solutions can be seamlessly integrated into the Citi Wealth ecosystem.The incumbent has very broad and deep expertise in many areas of software development, computing platforms, vendor products and programming languages and methods as well as extensive Financial Services application and business processes. A very deep understanding of the Global Banking and Investment portfolio requirements and regulatory, compliance related areas. Demonstrate expertise in Wealth CRM, Client Acquisitions, Client Onboarding, Product Fulfillment, Account Funding and Client Servicing for all Wealth products including Investment Products, Capital Markets, Alternate Investments, Structured Products, OTC Derivatives, Custody, Escrow services and traditional Banking products.Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain and apply a broad and current industry perspective on technology trends, opportunities, alternate solution providers and ranking, leading practices and our position/capability/performance relative to direct competitors and parallel industries or organizations.
• Demonstrate technology thought leadership, foster productive business relationships and build strong sponsorship of our technology architecture and roadmap. Understand and influence business strategy, ensuring it's informed by current and emerging technology capability and supported by our architecture and roadmap. Ensure technology roadmaps are developed within the context of expected market developments and the opportunities/threats they present.
• Maintain domain Level comprehensive technology roadmaps encompassing application and related infrastructure services that are consistent with the reference architecture and phased in accordance with business priorities, investment, and risk appetite and regulatory, risk and compliance requirements
• Provide architectural leadership for technology solutions capital markets, trading, custody, family office, trusts business, equity financing, derivatives, fixed income and forex platforms and cloud infrastructure initiatives
• Provide domain leadership within regional architecture forums, ensuring the reference architecture and roadmap for data and analytics domain are informed by practical requirements and that design decisions remain consistent with the architecture and roadmap; ensure appropriate governance of exceptions and stringent follow-up to ensure all conditions of approval are met within the committed timeframe
• Foster a strong global & regionally aligned solution architect/design community with intimate knowledge of reference architecture and roadmap, and oversee a governance process that will ensure reference architecture and roadmaps remain relevant within regional context and central to individual investment and project decisions
• Ensure early engagement of partner organizations (e.g. Citi Engineering) in the development of the reference architecture and roadmap. Ensure planned capability can be satisfied by partner organizations within the timeframe required. Assist in managing the consistency of partner organizations across regions
• Develop talent in Investment's domain and partner organizations such as engineering and delivery teams; develop a learning environment; demonstrate teamwork, respect and collaboration across the CTO function and other partner organizations, and foster a culture of innovation, commercial savvy, dependability, pragmatism and excellence.
• Ensure all regulatory, compliance and internal control requirements are met, while maintaining a measured view of risk affecting all areas of Engineering and Architecture responsibility and structured and visible plans for mitigation of this risk
• Drive capability reuse with point of convergence as success measure. Partner with product heads to develop Investments related products & capabilities, roadmaps, partner with Cloud-based offerings in investment and market research domains.
• Drive Cloud adoption and leverage cloud enabled technologies in investment domainQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 15+ years in senior technology/engineering leadership roles within financial services or a related industry; specific experience in strategy development, enterprise and/or solution architecture and systems integration in a complex distributed environment employing a mix of modern and legacy technologies
  • Comprehensive functional and technical knowledge within the assigned or related domain developed through practical experience in defining and delivering technology solutions within a global and diverse financial services environment
  • Core processor domain market insights. In-depth hands-on knowledge of integration and streaming platform, on-prem hosted platforms and cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS)
  • Strongly developed strategic, analytical and communication skills evidenced by experience in formulating strategic scenarios, evaluating trade-offs within a robust commercial framework, developing related financial models and designing practical execution plans
  • Practical experience in architecture roles within a complex commercial environment including assisting in setting architectural principles, helping define the reference architecture, building technology roadmaps aligned with business plans and helping to institute governance to ensure alignment of investment to strategy/architecture
