Account SpecialistJob Description Contract Duration 7+ MonthsIntroductionThe Sales Development Manager is part of our dedicated client team. This position is based in Addison, TX, and will work on a hybrid 4:1 in-office schedule.Job SummaryThe Account Specialist will provide the highest level of account management to internal and external client customers with respect to all aspects of the Commercial order process including order placement, order management, Jobsite planning, and customer and plant follow-up.Maintain solid interdepartmental and customer relationships by addressing questions and concerns with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.Essential DutiesSpecific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:The Account Specialist will act as the point of contact for assigned commercial business accounts in regard to managing all aspects of the order management process. This includes, but is not limited to:Gathering and analyzing data in order to process error-free orders and maintaining/updating existing orders in a timely manner to meet and exceed customer expectationsProviding real-time status information regarding orders to internal and external customersManaging a high volume of communication via emails and calls from customers as well as other departments quickly and accuratelyCommunicating product or procedure changes to the applicable partyCommunicate, and provide supporting information and education for alternative choices and/or products to customers and sales personnel when products are unavailableDevelop and provide internal and external departments with order information and reports as necessary or upon requestAct as a liaison between the Customer, Sales, Supply Chain, and Plants to ensure all customer/product issues are addressed in a timely mannerEnsure customer satisfaction by providing timely communication both verbally and written regarding shipping, status updates including delays, follow-up, and alternative productsUpdate and maintain proper customer contact information including email, fax, phone, and contact name, as well as all special delivery instructions, receiving capacity, or product restrictions in the master memoProcess all Returned Material Requests (RMAs) according to policy; communicate with all necessary individuals to ensure timely pick up of materialPhysical DemandsAbility to routinely work in a stationary position for long periods of timeAbility to routinely move about to accomplish tasks or to move from one work area to anotherFrequent sitting, walking, and standing; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancingAbility to lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 lbs of products, materials, boxes, equipment, etc. occasionallyAbility to work in outdoor conditions including high/low temperatures, inclement weather, wind, dust, humidity, etc., occasionallyAbility to frequently and quickly converse with and convey information to others on the phone and in personManual dexterity to routinely operate standard office equipment and keyboardsVisual acuity includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus routinely to view documents and computer screens, operate motor vehicles, perform visual inspections, etc.SkillsExperience in roofing/commercial preferred.Knowledge of ERP system (Oracle preferred)Must have clear written and verbal communication.Note:Onsite Full TimeFriday's will become remote days following an estimated 1 month of training.Benefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout our client:Our client is the leading roofing manufacturer in North America, with plants strategically located across the U.S. Founded in 1886, they are a $3 billion company with 3,200 employees and are a leader in the building materials industry.
