This team supports all domestic based employees in all lines of businesses with employee relations cases that have enterprise wide policy including: Attendance & Punctuality, Leaves of Absence, Protected Time Away, PTO and Accommodations. As an Employee Relations Consultant on the Time Away ER team, you will be responsible for the communication, guidance and education of core and common Employee Relations (ER)/HR policies. You will provide support and consultation that champions company policy, vision and values, while maintaining a focus on risk mitigation. Individuals within this position have an adaptable approach in order to consult with a variety of leadership personalities, communication styles and expectations. This position acts as an independent, confidential resource providing clients with analysis of facts, conclusions and recommendations as appropriate. Key Job Responsibilities: * Provide counsel and assistance to employees and all levels of management on ER issues. * Maintain accurate, timely, and required documentation of activities to ensure quality employee relations records and metrics. * Help research ER trends and issues. * Collaborates with other centers of excellence such as HR Business Partners, the Law Department, and/or Internal Investigations. * Routinely exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices. * Recommends or takes appropriate actions to address concerns as needed. * Provides front-line support in the prevention, investigation, resolution, and referral of ER issues. * Identification and analysis of ER issues, of a diverse scope, that require in-depth review of Wells Fargo policies and labor law legislation. * Maintain ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities. * Exercise sound judgment and expertise within broadly defined policies and practices. * Consult and build relationships with all levels of employees. #HUMANRESOURCEJOBS Location(s): The preferred location(s) for this job opening are as listed in the job posting, however, open to other locations across the Wells Fargo footprint. IA-West Des Moines: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 AZ-PHX-Northwest Phoenix: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 AZ-Chandler: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 NC-Charlotte: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 NC-Charlotte: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 NC-Charlotte: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 NC-Charlotte: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 MN-Minneapolis: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 TX-San Antonio: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 TX-Irving: Min: $63,900 Mid: $90,000 Max: $116,100 Required Qualifications * 2+ years of employee relations experience, human resources experience, or a combination of both, demonstrated through work or in the military * 2+ years of employee relations experience Desired Qualifications * Experience consulting on multiple employee relations issues that vary in scope and complexity * Ability to manage a high volume of Employee Relations cases * Experience with identifying, analyzing and resolving standard employee relations problems * Knowledge and understanding of employee relations as part of a human resources function * Knowledge and understanding of human resources policies and processes * Knowledge and understanding of human resources practices in the financial services industry * Knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, AA/EEO recruiting and hiring policies * Experience applying policies, employment laws and regulations * Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment * Ability to work independently * Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications * Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management * Strong conflict resolution skills * Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership * Coaching experience Other Desired Qualifications * Employee relations consultation experience with Lincoln Financial, Accommodations Management, and Leave Operations * Knowledge of Human Resources Help Desk (HRHD), PeopleSoft, and virtual technology * Experience using a case management system * 1+ years of experience with employee relations consultation on city ordinance, state statute, and federal regulation policy related to time away and leaves of absence.
