Job Description:

We are seeking a "Help Desk IT Support Technician" in Irving, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for end-user customers via phone and email by analyzing and troubleshooting problems, as well as performing hardware and software installation and testing.
  • Learn and document processes, solutions, and environments for operations of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain user manuals as well as internal documents.
  • Learn and monitor network environment, including desktop and network maintenance, software installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform server administration, user account management, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Provide periodic IT training to users, and participate in regional and global IT projects.
  • Business travel in Continental US and South America as needed.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, internal technology teams, and users.
    • Strong organization skills and be capable to deliver high quality of work.
    • Ability to learn quickly and efficiently as a team player, with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to multitask based on priority; customer-focused and detail-oriented.

      Skills & Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience in the IT field.
      • Proficient English communication skills are a must. Business level Spanish or Japanese language skills are preferred, but not required.
      • More than 3 years of experience in end-user support with Windows-based LAN/WAN/Remote Access.
      • Extensive knowledge of various business software: Windows OS, Office Suites, Adobe Acrobat, WebEx.
      • Basic troubleshooting experience with managing and troubleshooting iOS-based devices, Conference systems, MS Surface, and HP laptops.
      • Strong writing skills for documents and analytical skills to generate a report.
      • A+, Network+, and/or Microsoft Product-related Certifications are preferred but not required.
      • ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, or other IT vendor certifications are preferred but not required.
