For more information, visit www.mckesson.com.Current Need We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Financial Analyst to work with our Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services M Finance - US Oncology Valuations team in Irving, TX or The Woodlands, TX. The financial analyst will be responsible for supporting US Oncology Network practices and Business Unit M activity in the following aspects: financial modeling in MS Excel, forecasting, capital deployment economic feasibility analyses, financial modeling related to contract renewals/extensions, joint ventures, valuations, and other ad-hoc projects that support the finance team and business partners within McKesson. Position Description The Financial Analyst will analyze financial statements, balance sheets, trending analyses, analyzing historical financial results, and create useful financial schedules. The Financial Analyst is part of a team responsible for US Oncology Network practice growth and support as well as a team responsible for building financial operating models related to M opportunities.Frequently interacts with key business unit and functional peer groups that includes Business Development, Legal, Operations, Real Estate, Strategy, Accounting, and Market Analytics. Interaction usually requires the ability to gain cooperation of others to be engaged and provide functional information concerning specific projects, deal structures, etc.Key ResponsibilitiesUsing available data, build financial pro formas and conduct analyses.Translate financial statements and capital needs to a discounted cash flow analysis.Analyze income statements, margins and operating expenses.Develop financial pro formas measuring the economic viability of capital investments related to US Oncology Network practice opportunities.Support M Finance lead related to financial modeling and due diligence.Participate in special projects.Carry out any other tasks as requested by your supervisor.Attend business partner team meeting/relationship management.Prepare management and executive level presentations related to deals and capital deployment.Minimum Requirements2+ years of working knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements, balance sheets, develop business cases, and conduct discounted cash flow analyses, etc.Critical SkillsExceptional data analytics and research skills to identify and provide resolutions to an assortment of moderately complex deal structuresExperience analyzing and interpreting large amounts of practice data through use of databasesUtilize financial systems to inform business case developmentProficient MS Excel skillsStrong internal and external customer service and communications skillsAdditional Knowledge & SkillsAbility to interpret financial data and communicate results clearly (written and verbal); translate numbers into storiesExcellent verbal and written communication with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience working in a team environmentExcellent organizational skills, teamwork and interpersonal skillsAdaptable to changing environmentEducationBachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant field of study. MBA preferred.Must be authorized to work in the US.
