Senior Financial Analyst
Irving, TX - Hybrid - 4 days in office (onsite to start)

One of Vaco's clients with operations across the United States is looking to onboard a Senior Financial Analyst as part of a newly created role. Analysts will oversee SG&A, the annual operating plan, and be highly involved in building out forecasting templates and models using Power BI.

The company itself is currently working through a lot of automation projects and would be a great fit for folks used to high-volume environments with lots of moving pieces.


Day-to-day

• Assist in conducting comprehensive financial analysis and reporting across the organization, encompassing monthly reviews of financial performance and updates to forecasts, aimed at ensuring executive-level comprehension and alignment on results and projections.
• KPI-tracking, creating and tweaking financial reports and dashboards to measure key drivers by utilizing financial systems and provide business insights and drive efficiencies.
• Develop financial reports and create dashboards for service lines, customers, and operations to measure key drivers and results.
• Interface with internal business executives and leaders across the company including both domestic and international employees.
  Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in finance required, Masters in Data Sciences or MBA a plus.
  • Power BI is required - the role will start out building out dashboards and visualizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and possessing a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with business intelligence, reporting and financial planning systems.
  • Data extraction experience using SQL and/or other scripting languages is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and Financial systems skills.
