Job Description:

We are looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for an Import Export Agent in Dallas, TX for our client in a Cargo facility.The ideal candidate is an ambitious & detail-oriented individual that can perform in a faced paced warehouse cargo environment, under supervision.

• Pay:
• $20.00 phr
  Responsibilities:Processes export & import inquires as per client requirements and procedures such as processing of discrepancies at acceptance, preparation and finalization of outbound flights/trucks & handling of import documentation (delivery, transfer and abandoned shipment)Processes all Air Waybills and HAWBs and ensures accurate data capture as per client's requirements and proceduresHandles Special CargoInitiates invoicing, accepts cash paymentsPerforms Service Recovery activities (i.e. tracing, warehouse checks, offload) & Airmail HandlingFully supports the quality standardsWorks according to documented CHM and GOM proceduresObserves and applies the security requirements of the client and local authoritiesContacts customers, informthem of any/all irregularities
  Requirements:Education: GED/High School desired ExperienceWork Environment:Office Setting- Working with others
  Shift:Need to be flexible to work different shiftsOvertime Available
  Essential functions:Stand or Sit - Stationary position - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  Walk Move - needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access invoices, office machinery, etc.
  Constantly operate a computer & other office productivity machinery such as a computer, calculator, copier, and printer.
  Talk/Hear- The person in this position frequently communicates with employees to give instructions. Must be able to exchange accurateinformation in these situations.
