Job Description Job Description Basic Function: To sell the companys services to the public so as to generate a quality product for the client and profit for the company. 1. Communication: Maintains regular communication with the owner, staff and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business. Maintains company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with clients in a professional manner, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc. Assures that all necessary information pertaining to jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (i.e. job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.) Maintains open communication with Jr. Head Installers, Head Installers, Crew Leaders and Field Supervisors, in order to remain knowledgeable of jobs and teams. Communicates with all employees in a positive and respectful manner. Set and achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates and gross profits. 2. Sales and Estimating Responsibilities Attends all estimates on time. Calls all clients prior to arriving at estimate Prices new opportunities while meeting with the client at current production rates. A client must receive their estimate within 48 hours of the onsite visit if it is not left during the initial visit. Returns incoming phone calls in a professional manner and within 8 business hours of call. Provides product differentiation and solutions to client throughout selling process (assists client in understanding exactly what they are paying for and why it is a superior product.) Effectively sells the companys services to the client in a competitive atmosphere by understanding the clients needs and selling to satisfy those needs. Helps jobs stay happy and under. Maintain consistent follow-up on all open bids. Gets a yes or a no on all bids. Strive to target and market the most profitable jobs Sells only what the client asks for. Upgrade after having a signed contract for the low hanging fruit. Prioritizes work and actions in order to achieve established sales goals (see next page) Maintain closing and dollars sold percentage of at least 45%. Closing ratio is expected to climb significantly over time. Develops a well thought out prospecting plan focusing on generating leads for the company. Participates in networking groups to establish business relationships and promote company. Stops regularly at obvious potential clients or sites where gutter damage is evident or gutter related services are being performed, such as roofing or siding. Sales tracking worksheets are completed in their entirety before every sales meeting. 3. Management Team Responsibilities. Demonstrates positive leadership through all actions with all employees. Attends all meetings on time and participates. Works hours per week and perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner. Assists in the development and implementation of new systems, helping to maintain and increase the companys profitability and organization as it changes and grows. Assists in problem solving and implementing solutions. Participates in planning company growth and development and supports company mission by following through on initiatives. Commision only pay structure 7% commission on all sales when company supplies leads 1% extra commission on self generated leads 1% performance bonus when sales exceed $20,000 for the week. Payment is weekly Cancelled sales after payment will be recovered from the next pay period. We will work together to devise a sales cookbook and set goals. There are many variables depending on the month you were hired and the seasonality of the business. We expect our Solutionists to sell over $1 million in revenue each business year.
