Full-time Description Average hourly is $20.20 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.) Position Summary: The role focuses on supporting children in the Foster Care/Kinship Program by managing a caseload of families seeking to become kinship foster homes. The specialist coordinates with other agencies, conducts home visits, facilitates training, and ensures regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Recruit and engage potential foster/kinship families. Organize and oversee training and verification of foster homes. Conduct home visits and provide 24/7 on-call support. Coordinate child placements and collaborate with intake/licensing staff. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with licensing standards. Advocate for cultural sensitivity and teamwork. Qualifications: Preferred: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field. Bilingual candidates preferred. Must meet one of four qualification options based on education and experience in child-placing activities. Valid driver’s license required; must meet agency driving standards.
